Príncipe da Beira entered the service of Veltagus on July 25, 2015. Built in Aveiro - Portugal, it served as a passenger ship connecting the two banks of the Tagus River since 1980. It is a ship built to navigate the Tagus River, having been reconverted by Veltagus in 2015 for the river tourism activity.
The ship has 3 decks.
The deck (upper floor) has a multipurpose space where it can accommodate 146 passengers in a seated meal service, or up to 200 passengers in a cocktail service.
Aft of the ship an open area accommodates the outside lounge area.The deck (main deck) has two lounge areas with large sofas and armchairs, providing a comfortable area to enjoy the bar service.

Príncipe da Beira has great maneuverability and can berthed along the Tagus River at the marinas and jetties of the Port of Lisbon such as TERREIRO DO PAÇO, CAIS DO SODRÉ, BELÉM, CACILHAS, PORTO BRANDÃO, TRAFARIA, SEIXAL, BARREIRO, VILA FRANCA DE XIRA It is also allowed to dock at the MARINAS DO PARQUE DAS NAÇÕES and OEIRAS
Príncipe da Beira is regularly moored at the Cais da Rocha Conde de Óbidos – North, Alcântara Dock – Lisbon
